Marjorie Reid Jennings was born in Macon, Georgia on February 22, 1945. Her parents were William Jennings and Marjorie Reid McFerren-Jennings. She graduated from Stratford Academy. She enjoyed archery and spoke highly of her high school Sorority Sigma Alpha Epsilon. She especially loved her grandmother, Lois Moore Reid who imbued in her a deep faith in God.
She attended West Georgia College where she majored in Psychology. She earned her Master's Degree from West Georgia College. She enjoyed reading Carl Jung, and other books about the human mind. She worked for 18 years as a counselor and organizer at Psychological Education, in Macon Georgia. She donated to charities, often to children all over the world. She enjoyed philanthropy and making the world a better place.
She enjoyed traveling, gardening, and people. Her favorite line was "My father always told me not to lie." She was honest, straightforward and caring. She loved those who were in her life. She passed on February 1st 2021, in Macon Georgia at age 75. She will be missed by many who she touched with her compassion and wisdom.
Marjorie Jennings is survived by Suzanne Jennings and her dear friend, Helen Hughes.
